I’ve been playing bass since I was 13. I grew up in Albany, New York, and got a lot of early experience there playing professional blues gigs in middle school and high school. I graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, where I studied with Anthony Vitti, Danny Morris, Oscar Stagnaro, and Matt Garrison. After a contract playing for a Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship orchestra I spent the next four years playing gigs and recording in New England and throughout the northeast. I was a part of one of the top general business bands in Boston, and got to play for such organizations as The Boston Red Sox and City Year. I also opened for The Spinners and Tavares. In September of 2011 I relocated to Los Angeles, where I’ve continued to gig and record, as well as teach. In LA I played extensively with the following groups and artists: The Backbeat Brawlers, The Luke Mulholland Band, Tennessee Trouble, Abby Posner, Kristen Cook, Alaina Blair, Bo Riley, D.on Darox & The Melody Joy Bakers, Saroja, The Walking Phoenixes, and Everett Coast. I have experience playing a wide range of styles on both bass guitar and upright bass. In addition, I’ve played cello on several original artists' recordings.
